Milites Dei Security Services (Pty) Ltd started being operational in December 2014 and has two fields of focus, namely guarding and patrolling:
Our Head Office is situated in the Sanderson House in Peebles Valley outside White River in South Africa. This valley is known as the Jock of the Bushveld Conservancy, therefore offers a rich history.
We also offer security courses at Milites Dei Academy. Our training to the students have a wealth of benefits that equip them with valuable life skills. Our specialist security operatives are provided with thorough in-house training in the security industry.
The vision of Milites Dei Security Services (MDSS), is to lead and inspire quality security risk solutions to individuals and businesses in South Africa.
It is our mission to meet regulatory requirements as they apply to private security industry, to exceed the expectations of quality.
We pride ourselves on being the provider of quality security specialist operative training to staff before deployment at a client. Staff with both PSIRA and Firearm Competencies are deployed, thus following the legal requirements of South Africa.
Compared to other PSIRA registered companies, MDSS are in a 20km radius from Hazyview and White River and close to many (i) forestry companies, (ii) farms, (iii) guest houses and (iii) the big community of Legogote, Swalala, Mahusha and Nkambeni.
The world-famous dog (Jock of the Bushveld) accompanied his owner, Sir. Percy Fitzpatrick, when he visited the Sanderson family. Sir. Percy wrote some chapters of his famous book in the Sanderson House.
Although MDA is still a new company and campus, partnerships were already established with the local organisations such as POLSEC, Chamber of Business, South African Council for Business Women. MDSS also have a good and professional relationship with the White River DFO.
In August 2015, Milites Dei Academy (MDA) received the CIPC registration to operate as a registered company in South Africa. In 2017, PSIRA registration was acquired and in 2018, SASSETA. Our academy (MDA) offers PSIRA grades, security and firearm training.

We also offer Victim Support.

At MDSS, we are proud to present successful interventions to companies in South Africa and Africa. The staff have SASSETA Qualifications, PSIRA Grades E – to A, Fire Arm Competencies, Hotel Security, Retail Security, CIT and Armed Response.
No staff is employed that do not present their PSIRA and SAPS competencies. In addition, the staffs are first put through an induction/orientation week where they learn to operate with military-style precision, honour and toughness through the activities of the drill, physical exercises, bungalow inspections and practical competencies before and continuously during deployment at a client.
